Last couple of posts by antirepresija & MotherOfBob have been some of the smartest that i have read in my 8 years on this forum....

The key point in all of this is the club (and suppporters) are realising that playing top-level football in this country is a near impossibility, and to stabilise the club, we must go back to our roots to keep the remaining supporters that are left. Im not sure what the club would achieve by going mainstream. Probably lose its identity altogether.

If i was interested in supporting mainstream football, i would have jumped ship and watched victory a long time ago. Instead, I love coming to watch the club I have grown up with at Somers St every second week through winter. Those who feel like its a chore, you may as well not walk through the front gates...

Thats my 2 bobs worth anyway.
