MotherOfBob wrote: Thanks for your reply antirepresija. I regret that you no longer hold me in the high esteem you once did. Maybe your feelings changed during those seasons in the NSL that you did not attend games for months on end , only to pop up as some interet saviour of our "tradicije" years later. I commend you on your efforts in painting whatever you painted. Great work. Some years ago this would have been labelled "collaboration", now it is "love for the club and its traditions", possibly even "nationalism" as you posted earlier. I do have a long memory. Tko te nezna skupo bi te platija, hence the necessity for someone to point out a few irregularities in your posts. You do what you do, I'll do what I do - na kraju krajeva, same end result. As for the smaller clubs being to blame for the demise of Melbourne Croatia, that would have to be one of the most misguided posts I have ever read on this forum UK. There's noone to cook the BBQ at Somers Street as all the good cooks have been headhunted by Tornado, Gospic and Dandy City? Maybe Split can spare a barman. Melbourne Croatia was once not only the sporting, but the political beacon of our community - and was used as a vehicle to promote our ideas and plight to a national audience. To je vrime proslo. It is but a village club like the remaining village clubs of our community in the FFV system. Most of the people that come watch the club have affiliations with these "parasite" clubs you speak of. As for me, MCSC has served its political purpose. My village club now serves my political purpose, promoting my didovina across this desert of a footballing landscape as a beacon of my ancestry. Regionalism you say? Perhaps. Divisive? It rose from the ashes of Tottenham Zagreb which was around long before the problems of modern-day MCSC, as were Mostar, Split, Dinamo, Chelsea, etc. As for soliting pamet, I don't participate, hence I don't claim to have the answers. I just find it hard to swallow some people who for no good reason (sometimes they do I must admit) attack others who have an opinion, just like they have an opinion, but are in no better position to do this than the person they're attacking. That is where it has all gone off the rails.

The likes of you sabotaged the club for 2 years with trying to de-Croatianise the club, you failed miserably. Drove the normal fans away with whores as sponsors, with shameful club shirts and with no communication with the community. Was this getting rid of tunnel vision? Now the clubs board has preached a more Croatian, more old school way of running the club and this is a time where people should get behind this club who offered the community so so much in years gone by.
